CONTACT US BY E-MAIL
Framingham Pediatrics is pleased to offer our patients
and families the opportunity to contact us by e-mail. We hope that this
will make communication with our office easier and more convenient . We
encourage patients and families to take advantage of this technology
for routine types of communcation with the office that do
not need immediate attention. We hope to enable you to communicate with
us when it is convenient for you, and without the need to take your
valuable time on the telephone.
Please be aware of the following guidelines for using e-mail
communication with the office:
- E-mail to our office is not confidential.
Your message may be seen by several people in the office, including
physicians and staff.
- Do not use e-mail for urgent matters.
E-mail is checked in the office once each day. Do not use e-mail to
communicate about a sick child who needs attention that day.
- Responses to your e-mail may
take several days. We will do our best to respond in a timely
manner, but a response may not come on the same day as you send your
message.
- Requests for referrals or prescription refills
will be dealt with within 24 hours during the week. E-mail is
not read in our office over the weekend. You will receive an e-mail or
telephone message from our office within that time period if there is a
problem with your request.

reasons, we now request that all
e-mails to our doctors be
done through our secure Patient Portal.
If you have not already signed
up for the Patient Portal, please call our office during regular office
hours and speak to a member of our staff.
