      In December of 2013, Framingham Pediatrics began a partnership with Psychological Care Associates to provide Psychological Services on site, alongside, and in collaboration with the pediatricians and staff who care for your child.  David Kesselman joined Framingham Pediatrics in March 2017 and Sarah Horn joined us in November 2017.   Currently, they are in our office to provide consultation, evaluation, education, brief treatment and referral guidance for children and families, together and in coordination with the Framingham Pediatrics staff you have always known.

David Kesselman, LICSW, DCSW

David E. Kesselman, LICSW, DCSW earned his Master of Social Work degree from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work in 2002 and trained at Boston Children’s Hospital Department of Medicine and Whitman Counseling in Whitman, MA.  He holds a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, is a Doctoral Candidate in Social Work at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and a Qualified Evaluator for Juvenile Fire-setting.  Mr. Kesselman has worked with children, adolescents, families and adults in a wide variety of settings including private group practice, residential and secure treatment facilities, educational settings, and as a trauma evaluator for Children’s Charter in Waltham and YOU, Inc. in Worcester.  He has served in supervisory capacities as Clinical Director at the Worcester Secure Treatment Center of the Department of Youth Services, and as Director of Treatment at Germaine Lawrence School.

David joined PCA’s Framingham Office in 2015 where he provides evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, families and adults.  He now joins Framingham Pediatrics in its partnership with PCA and will provide evaluation, consultation, treatment and guidance for children and families as part of the Framingham Pediatrics team.

Mr. Kesselman will see patients on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays:
He will do a call-in time on those days from 8:30-9:00 am


 

Sarah Horrn, LICSW

Sarah A. Horn, LICSW earned her Master of Social Work degree from the Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, MA in 2012.  She trained at the Faulkner Hospital in Boston, the Belmont, MA Public Schools, and South Shore Mental Health’s Bayview Associates in Quincy.  Following her last training in Quincy, she joined the professional staff providing evaluation and therapy services in the outpatient setting as well as consultation to in-home family & behavioral therapists.  Sarah has served as a Staff Social Worker in the Quincy Public Schools and prior to joining PCA, at the Child Development Unit of Leonard Morse Hospital at Metro West Medical Center.
 
She joins PCA’s Framingham Office where she provides evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, families and adults.   Ms. Horn provides evaluation, consultation, treatment and guidance for children and families as part of the Framingham Pediatrics/PCA Integrated Behavioral Health program.
 
Ms. Horn will see patients on Mondays and Tuesdays:
She will do a call-in time on those days from 8:30-9:00 am

Please note:  Visits with a psychologist will be billed through PCA to your mental health insurer, and are subject to co-payments due at the time of the visit. If you would prefer that PCA not disclose information with your insurer, a private pay option is also available.
